So here is your post to post what you think is all the things that God, any God, your God my God, did right. What did he or her or what ever, do that you think was a good thing. Please tell.
He did everything right! Lol! For one, He let me wake up another day, and live! Another ting, He gave me an eternal home in Heaven because I accepted Him! There's lots and lots more, but I don't have time to post more.
He saved my life when I was just a babby, and he lead me to faith! Praise god!
he did everything right, as Jesse said. I woke up this morning. I am loved. etc. etc. etc. ettc. etc. Praise jesus
Every single thing, although we may at times not be aware of it.
Budha did right. He told of how to get a nice life.
To me, he did everything right. Unfortunately though, people make mistakes or dumb choices that can directly affect others. But I take these experiences as something to learn from; I would not be the same person I am without the negative stuff that I've been thru. I honestly thank Him for my life and for always being there for me.
this is a wonderful topic. besides dying for our sins, and saving my soul, some of the specific wonders he did are; making the beautiful trees that turn color in the fall. creating puppies, babies, and kittens so extremely cute. giving us problems and the mental ability to solve them. letting me be near the ocean and it's magnificence. i could go on and on and on. without god, this world would be a pretty flat dull and lifeless place.
God gave us the freedom to choose. He provided a way out after all could have been lost. He is on our side, even though we turn against him. He provided us with many guidelines that make sense and, if followed, can better our lives, even if we can't possibly understand how. He made me who I am. His plan gives me purpose. I know where I came from before this life, I know where I will end up, and I know what the purpose of life is.
my dear if you know the purpose of life, please call oprah and get on her show. all of the rest of us would like to find out. seriously, I don't know the purpose of my life. I am not God. He shows it to me a bit at a time every day or when I need to know it. If we think we know everything, we are boxing ourselves in. poor you.
one of the best things that god did for me I forgot to mention. He made me a blind person. as such I have a unique opportunity to work for good in the world. Most people don't know many like me or you. so it is my job to witness his love to others. this is done by word and deed.
Turricane I'm not sure if you were being sympathetic or condescending in your reply to me. Rest assured, I do not mean to imply that I know everything. I am far far from that, and nor will I ever know everything. I do, however, know the purpose of my existance. I know why I am here. I do not know what I must do to make the most of my life. The reason I know so much on this subject is because the the religion of which I belong has shown me a lot more about the nature of our purposes here on earth than any other Christian church I've yet encountered. By this I do not mean to imply that your way, whatever it may be is wrong. ar from it. I to am a Christian, though there are some Christians who would bock at such an idea. I have searched long to find purpose, and never honestly believed I'd ever be a religious man. Again, I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong. I've just discovered what I believe to be the fullness of God and CJesus's purpose for us as a species. What God's plan for me is...well that I'm still quite in the dark about.
By the way, I agree with your statement about being made blind, and for the same reasons.

remy, i wasn't trying to be condescending. i just think it is so funny when people think they know the meaning of anything. The older I get and the more I experience, the less I think I know. i was trying to be joking but I guess it came off poorly. please forgive me for offending you.
No that's alright. It's sometimes very difficult to get across the intent of a message in words alone. message boards are really bad for that, nd I'm pretty sure that's why people take offense and get so frustrated so easily. I suppose too that I should have been more specific. I know (or at least I know a fare bit about our purpose in life aas a species, but as for my own exact purpose, I'm nowhere near figuring that out either.

there was a man who said: "the purpose of life is a life with a purpose"
Tat's just an infinite circle
